The veranda's also double up as private massage or yoga lesson areas and also make for perfect haven for bird watchers.
The centre of all the activities is the 'Baithak' or main lodge. With its earth walls, roofs supported by mature Sal wood rafters and tiles from the 1930's makes it an intimate lodge with open spaces, details of local architecture blending beautifully with nature. A refreshment bar with a large selection of coffee and tea's , art gallery and library, wildlife and tribal photographs, a collection of wildlife art recording the lives of individual tigers makes this a not just a place to eat or meet other people but also a glimpse into the life here.
Activities at the camp include slideshows and interactive
programs about Bandhavgarh and Tigers, visits to nearby
forest villages to interact with local communities, interactions
with wildlife artists, cooking demonstrations of Indian
recipes adapted to the bush and also the opportunity to
plant a tree and leave your mark by participating in the
conservation program - "Forests for Tigers". A stay here
is not just another wildlife experience but is mixed with
meeting and interacting with the local people, dedicated
wildlifer's and people who are doing much more than just
